Description:
Context :
As part of the school’s presence at 2024/2025 art and design fairs, I worked on adapting and extending the visual identity of 1984 School of Design into a cohesive 360° system tailored for large-scale event environments.
The goal was to create a complementary graphic universe that would enhance the existing logo, while ensuring strong visibility, consistency, and recognition across all touchpoints in a competitive exhibition context.
Scope & Role :
Working as Art Director and project lead, I designed and coordinated the full range of assets required for the fairs, while also overseeing production and print validation.
Deliverables :
The system was applied across multiple formats, including kakemonos, large-scale banners, a folded poster presenting the programs, an institutional brochure, and a sticker sheet designed for prospective students. Each asset was conceived as part of a unified visual ecosystem, ensuring consistency while adapting to different formats and purposes.
Approach :
The work focused on building a coherent and flexible visual system capable of scaling across various printed materials. Particular attention was given to hierarchy, readability, and visual consistency, ensuring that each element contributed to a clear and impactful overall presence on site.
Beyond design, I handled the full production workflow: file preparation, exchanges with printers, proof validation (BAT), and final approval to ensure fidelity between design intent and printed output.
Result :
The final outcome provided the school with a consistent and professional visual setup for its event presence, strengthening its visibility, improving the clarity of its communication, and creating a cohesive brand experience across all materials displayed at the fairs.
